About Michaela

Over the last 2 decades, Michaela has coached over 20 athletes to compete on the international stage. Working with all ages and abilities, from complete beginner through to elite athletes, Michaela prides herself on her own technical ability as well as that of those she coaches.

Michaela’s Olympic Weightlifting career spanned over 2 decades and, having competed most of her career in the 58kg and 63kg bodyweight categories, Michaela has snatched 101kg and Clean and Jerked 123kg weighing just 64kg.

A few of her achievements:

2 x Olympian

6 x Commonwealth Medals British Record Holder Commonwealth Champion and Commonwealth record holder in both the snatch and total (under 63 kg category)

Weightlifting Workshop - Nov 13

If you want to improve your own lifting ability and get coached by one of the top weightlifters in Britain, this is your chance! You will learn all technical aspects of the lifts, get one-to-one feedback, and understand the training principles that led Michaela to her success.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities, from those just starting out to International athletes.

09:30 Welcome, Introduction & Camp Overview

10:30 Back to Basics. Light bar work with focus on technicalities of the lifts.

12:30 Lunch and Q&A

14:00 Snatch and Clean & Jerk heavy. Working to technical breakdown to see what each person struggles with to be able to best advise on how to progress and areas to focus training on.

16:30 Debrief & Q&A
